Pinterest has introduced a new feature for sharing content to other social platforms like Stories on Instagram. Previously, users could share content or Pins they liked and the link back to Pinterest. However, sometimes users want to share more than that.
Now, Pinterest allows users to share entire Boards that collect various Pins organized by categories. This enables viewers to click back and see the entire Board’s content as well.
Pinterest explains that sharing a Board is a way for users, especially the younger generation, to showcase their dreams, admired images, and personal style.
To share a user’s Board, they must first set the Board to public. The shared content will be in the form of a video showing the Pins in the Board in a slideshow format with a link back to Pinterest attached.
TLDR: Pinterest now allows users to share entire Boards on other social platforms, showcasing their dreams, admiration, and personal style in a slideshow video format with a link back to Pinterest.
