Enormous Update for Control: Now Supports DLSS 3.7, Introduces Supplementary Audio Missions by Hideo Kojima

The critically acclaimed game Control by Remedy Entertainment was released in 2019 and has seen great success. Fans can look forward to both a sequel, Control 2, and a standalone expansion, FBC: Firebreak, in the near future.

Nearly 6 years after its initial release, Remedy has rolled out a major update, version 1.30, for Control Ultimate Edition. This update includes enhanced graphics features such as support for DLSS 3.7, HDR, 10-bit color HDR (up from 8-bit), and compatibility with ultra-wide 48:9 aspect ratio displays.

Content-wise, the update introduces new sets and items that were previously exclusive to pre-order customers, as well as an additional mission called Dr. Yoshimi Tokui’s Guided Imagery Experience featuring voice work by renowned director Hideo Kojima. This mission, which was once a PS4 exclusive, is now available to play on all platforms.

The update is now live for PC players, with versions for PS5, Xbox Series X|S consoles slated to arrive in the near future.
