They have also revealed that they have invested in purchasing land in the Bangna area, spanning over 18,700 square meters, valued at $34 million (approximately 1.15 billion baht). This investment is aimed at constructing the Equinix International Business Exchange (IBX) data center, consisting of 2 facilities that can accommodate more than 3,375 racks upon completion. However, the company has not specified the timeline for the construction plan.
With a total of 58 data centers in the Asia-Pacific region, Equinix has a presence in countries like Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Recently, the company announced plans to expand into the Philippines and most recently, Thailand.
