Exclusions: iPhone and Apple Watch Insurance does not Cover Pre-existing Screen Glass Scratches – Repairs Incur Additional Charges

Originally, if there were hairline cracks on the screens of iPhone and Apple Watch without any signs of impact, Apple would repair them for free under warranty. However, recent reports suggest that Apple has sent new warranty documentation to its service providers stating that such issues are no longer covered under warranty and will be considered accidents. If repair is needed, additional service fees will apply. On the bright side, the warranty still covers the same as before if the issue occurs on iPad and Macbook.

TLDR: Apple may no longer cover hairline cracks on iPhone and Apple Watch screens under warranty, but the coverage remains the same for iPad and Macbook.
