Adam Mosseri, the head of Instagram, has announced two new features of Threads.
The first feature is the integration with the Fediverse network, a key selling point of Threads. Users connected to Fediverse can now view a list of followers from other networks through Threads, as well as see which accounts have been liked.
Another feature is the ability to edit posts. Originally set at a 5-minute editing window, users requested a longer time frame. Threads has extended the editing time to 15 minutes, with the caveat that posts will be shared on Fediverse (if connected) 15 minutes later to allow for the editing process to finish. This is because Threads cannot edit posts sent to Fediverse.
