Expanding the Price Ceiling: Google Sets Maximum App and In-App Prices in Play Store at 37,000 Baht

Google has updated its pricing range for apps and in-app purchases on the Play Store for developers. Previously capped at a maximum of $400 or 13,370 baht, it has now been extended to $999.99 for the United States and increased to 37,000 baht for Thailand.

Though the popularity of high-priced app purchase models (at this numerical level) is limited, primarily occurring within premium in-app formats, this price adjustment may cater to in-app services for enterprise clients who often perceive high service values themselves.

The maximum app price on the Play Store of 13,370 baht since 2015 has never been expanded by Google for almost a decade.
