Expansion of Alibaba Cloud Data Centers in Thailand within the Next 3 Years Announced

Alibaba Cloud recently announced at a seminar in Paris that they are expanding their services to include the Mexico region for the first time. Additionally, they revealed plans to increase data centers in four countries: Malaysia, the Philippines, South Korea, and Thailand within the next three years.

Having already established an Availability Zone in Thailand since 2022, Alibaba Cloud hinted at further data center expansions without delving into specific details.

In the Southeast Asia region, Alibaba Cloud currently operates data centers in five countries: Singapore (3 zones), Malaysia (2 zones), Indonesia (3 zones), the Philippines (1 zone), and Thailand (1 zone) – detailed map.
