Meta has announced the expansion of its feature to send one-way communication messages to followers on Broadcast Channels on both Facebook and Messenger, supporting all pages and creators with more than 10,000 followers. Previously, it was only available for select pages and operated on a waitlist system.
The Broadcast Channel feature on Facebook and Messenger has been in use since October of last year, mirroring the feature found on Instagram.
Meta has also added several features to Broadcast, such as the ability to send messages across platforms from Instagram to Facebook, share exclusive content for Broadcast followers to see before posting on the page, and allow followers to share content from Broadcast to Stories in sticker format.
