The main protagonist of this installment is a female character named Lucy (portrayed by Ella Purnell), who happens to be the daughter of the leader of Vault 33 and must venture out of the shelter into the wider world.

This series is created by Jonathan Nolan, known for his work on Westworld, serving as the showrunner and director. It also features Todd Howard, the director of the Fallout game, credited in the project. The series is set to premiere on April 12, 2024.
