Farewell to Fragmented Entertainment: HBO Max Set to Launch in Thailand, Replacing HBO Go

Warner Bros. Discovery recently unveiled their plan to expand the HBO Max (or simply Max) service in Asia, starting from Japan where it was just launched through a partner last week, followed by Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and wrapping up in Australia early next year.

The exact timeline for the service launch is still unclear, but announcements are expected to follow soon. In Southeast Asia, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, HBO Max will replace the long-standing HBO Go service.
