Fear the Unbelievable! Apple Pulls Plug on Personal Siri Feature After Declaring its Delay, Might Not Come This Year.

In September of the previous year, Apple unveiled the iPhone 16, accompanied by a series of advertisements showcasing the capabilities of Apple Intelligence. This initiative consisted of 3 segments featuring Bella Ramsey (known for Game of Thrones and The Last of Us). However, Apple disclosed that the Siri feature, which understands context and caters to individual users, required more development time than anticipated. Consequently, this feature might be rolled out in the upcoming year. The advertisement highlighting the Siri feature has since been removed from Apple’s YouTube channel.

On the other hand, the other 2 ads released simultaneously to showcase other facets of Apple Intelligence, namely Email Summary, which summarizes email content, and Custom Memory Movies, creating videos from a collection of images, remain unaffected. Both of these features have been available for use since iOS 18.1 in October.

In the missing ad titled “Personal Siri,” Ramsey encounters a familiar man but forgets his name, prompting her to query Siri about the person she met at a particular cafe last month. Siri promptly retrieves appointment details from the calendar and provides the name, enabling Ramsey to engage in a smooth conversation.

Although the original ad has been removed, it can still be viewed from the following post:

TLDR: Apple’s iPhone 16 advertisement spotlighting Apple Intelligence’s Siri feature has been postponed, hinting at a potential release in the following year. Ads emphasizing other AI capabilities remain accessible, showcasing Email Summary and Custom Memory Movies, available since iOS 18.1. The “Personal Siri” ad, despite its removal, can still be viewed.
