Financial Report: Roblox Sees Robust Growth with 31% Revenue Increase and 79.5 Million User Accounts

Roblox has reported its quarterly performance for the second quarter of 2024, with total revenue of $893.5 million, marking a 31% increase compared to the same quarter last year. Bookings, which represent in-game purchases yet to be recognized as revenue, saw a 22% growth to $955.2 million, a 19% increase, while net loss stood at $205.9 million.

The daily active users (DAUs) reached 79.5 million accounts, up by 21%, with a total playtime of 1.74 trillion hours, a 24% increase.

David Baszucki, the founder and CEO of Roblox, credited the company’s overall metrics growth in the past quarter to high-quality content within the game. The platform has incentivized creators to produce engaging content, which has been well-received by players of all ages and regions worldwide.
