However, this amounts to a small percentage, approximately 0.01%, with the majority of the content being crafted by human creativity.
Okatani explains that the utilization of AI is an experimental approach to determine the effectiveness of AI-generated visuals within the game. Midjourney, a tool used by the team, prompts basic commands to produce abstract images that enhance the game’s overall experience.
In previous announcements, Takashi Kiryu, the president of Square Enix, expressed the company’s intention to increase the implementation of AI in game development.
Foamstars is set to be available for PlayStation Plus users starting from February 6th.
