At CES 2024, Nvidia announced the progress of their GeForce Now service, a game streaming service that is now available in 110 countries. They have also opened new data centers in Poland, Chile, and Thailand, with two data centers located in Pathum Thani and Kanchanaburi (Ban Sao Thong), Thailand. It is expected that the GFNA (geforce now alliance) service is actively seeking partners in Thailand.
Furthermore, Nvidia has brought games from Activision Blizzard, such as Diablo IV and Overwatch 2, into their service. They have also incorporated G-SYNC technology to enhance streaming performance, paired with Reflex that extends frame rates up to 60FPS and 120FPS for players gaming through cloud systems. Additionally, they have introduced graphics at the level of the RTX 4080 and announced support for 1440p resolution on mobile devices. This allows players to connect their phones to monitors and enjoy gaming at this high resolution.
In addition to all this, Nvidia plans to launch GeForce NOW in Japan during the autumn season. They will manage this endeavor in collaboration with KDDI. As for Thailand, there has been no official launch announcement yet, but users in Thailand can sign up through Game Hub+, managed by Star Hub, Nvidia’s partner in Singapore.
