Google has released the Gmail Q&A feature for the Gmail app on Android, allowing users to utilize Gemini to search for information in their old emails and provide answers to our inquiries (such as “What was the PO number for my agency?”). This feature has been available previously in the web version of Gmail, displayed as a sidebar. The iOS version is expected to follow suit in the near future.
To access this feature, it is necessary to subscribe to the Google One AI Premium package or for business users, have Gemini Business/Enterprise. Source – Google Workspace.
