Google Chrome 129 to Cease Supporting macOS Catalina

Google is set to unveil Google Chrome version 129 on September 17th this year, with support ending for macOS 10.15 Catalina and only being available for macOS 11 and above. This means that Chrome version 128 is currently the last version officially supported on macOS Catalina.

In reality, this might not come as a surprise, as macOS Catalina is around 5 years old and has reached its End of Life (EoL) about 2 years ago, leading to no security updates or support from Apple. It is understandable why Google would discontinue support for Chrome on this macOS version.

TLDR: Google Chrome version 129 will no longer support macOS Catalina, with version 128 being the final one for this operating system due to its age and lack of support from Apple.
