Google decouples Kaspersky from Google Play Store as per US government ban directive.

Google removes Kaspersky Android version from the global Google Play Store following instructions from the US government’s ban on Kaspersky. Kaspersky recommends Android users to install their software through other channels such as Galaxy Store, Huawei AppGallery, Xiaomi GetApps, or by downloading the APK directly from the Kaspersky website. Currently, other stores including the American company Apple App Store have not taken any action to block Kaspersky.

TLDR: Google has removed Kaspersky’s Android version from the Play Store worldwide due to US government restrictions, prompting users to seek alternative installation methods. Other app stores, like Apple App Store, have not followed suit.
