Google introduces new automatic subtitle feature for videos uploaded to Google Drive.

Users of Google Drive can now utilize the feature of automatic captioning during video uploads, currently only available in English with other languages coming soon.

For general users, there is an option to enable automatic captions during uploads, while Google Workspace users will have it enabled automatically if the admin chooses to do so. To create captions for old clips, simply go to the three-dot button on the top right, select “Manage Caption Tracks,” and choose “Generate automatic captions.”

Additionally, users can search for videos in their Drive by typing a sentence from the video on the search bar in Google Drive instead of searching by file name.
