Google launches organizational migration tool from Microsoft Teams to Google Chat

Google has released a tool that simplifies the process of moving chat messages from organizations using Microsoft Teams to Google Chat. The migration now includes referencing old messages from the Teams era, ensuring that no messages are lost in transition.

This feature allows data migration by the organization’s admin through the Admin Console of Google Workspace. The process involves connecting the Microsoft Account, exporting chat data from Teams into a CSV file, and then importing it into Google Chat.

The feature was initially tested in beta for a period and is now available for all Google Workspace customers to use.
