Google Meet has updated its Live Captions and Live Translate features, allowing users to rewind and view the subtitles up to 30 minutes back during calls. This feature makes it easier to review or check on things that may have been missed. Previously, it would only appear for a brief moment and then disappear.
To utilize this feature, users need to enable Live Captions or Live Translate during the meeting. With this update, it is now available for both free and paid Google Workspace accounts. For those within the Scheduled Release group, the update will be available starting from February 24th and may take up to 15 days to be accessible to everyone.
