Google Rebrands Fitbit to Google Fitbit and Abandons the Old Logo

Google quietly updated the logo of the Fitbit website without any official announcement. Originally, the Fitbit logo was written with a small ‘f’ and featured a series of blue dots connected to form a square. It has now transformed into Google Fitbit, written with a large ‘F’ using the Google Sans font and eliminating the blue symbol.

Following Google’s acquisition of Fitbit, they initially branded it as Fitbit by Google while retaining the original logo. Now, over three years later, it was time for a brand refresh.

Within the past year, Fitbit ceased operations in several countries worldwide, including Thailand. Additionally, co-founders James Park and Eric Friedman recently departed from Google at the beginning of 2024.
