Google releases Gemini 1.5 Pro for public use to enhance search capabilities across Google Search and organizational databases, enabling voice recognition.

Google has launched Gemini 1.5 Pro, now available for public use. This latest version, following its limited release in February, introduces enhanced features for data referencing, including grounding, through both Google Search and internal organizational data searches.

For internal data searches, Vertex AI previously offered Enterprise Search services. Now, it has expanded to seamlessly connect with external databases like AlloyDB and BigQuery. Additionally, it integrates with various organizational apps such as Workday, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Hadoop, Confluence, and JIRA.

With Gemini 1.5 Pro on Vertex AI (accessible via Google Cloud), users can directly transcribe audio, upload meeting files for text conversion, search for information, and engage in Q&A sessions.
