Google has unveiled the Pixel 9a, a mid-range phone focused on value. This year’s update is faster than last year’s, with a design featuring a flat profile.
The phone boasts a 6.3-inch 1080 x 2424 pOLED Smooth Display (60-120Hz) and a 5100mAh battery with fast charging up to 23W (compared to the Pixel 8a’s 4492mAh). It is powered by the Tensor G4 processor with 8GB of RAM and Titan M2 chip.
It supports dual SIM (Nano SIM + eSIM), Wi-Fi 6E with 6GHz band compatibility, Bluetooth 5.3, and NFC. The device is IP68 water and dust resistant.
The main camera is a 48-megapixel Quad PD sensor with optical and electronic image stabilization, supporting macro photography. It runs on Android 15.
Available in four colors – Iris (purple-blue), Peony (red-pink), Porcelain (cream white), and Obsidian (black) – the Pixel 9a will hit the market in April.
