Google’s Method Adjustment Allows Direct Removal of Personal Name from Google Search

Google once introduced a feature called Results About You in 2022, allowing us to see what comes up when we search our own name on Google Search and request to remove our data. Fast forward to 2025, Google revamped the appearance of Results About You, now directly visible on the Google Search page (previously only in Account Settings). We can now search for our name in Search and click on the specific link in the search results to submit a removal request.

Moreover, the main Results About You page has been redesigned for easier navigation, displaying all the information on where our name appears in Google Search and the progress status of each data removal request.

TLDR: Google’s Results About You feature has been updated to allow easier access to information regarding our own online presence and the ability to request data removal directly from search results.
