Government of New Zealand decides to extradite Kim Dotcom, the founder of Megaupload, for trial in the United States.

The New Zealand government has decided to extradite Kim Dotcom, the founder of Mega web (formerly Megaupload), back to the United States after residing in New Zealand since 2010.

Kim Dotcom’s legal saga began in 2012 when the FBI raided and arrested the Megaupload website team on charges of copyright infringement. However, Kim Dotcom was in New Zealand at that time and was subsequently arrested by New Zealand police.
