Further issues have arisen from NVIDIA’s latest quarterly earnings report for Quarter 4 of the company’s fiscal year 2025, which summarizes the overall financial figures for the year and provides interesting data.
In the 10-K filing, a detailed operational report by NVIDIA, it is revealed that the company has three key customers who directly purchase products from NVIDIA, termed as Direct Customers. These customers, denoted as A, B, and C, contribute significantly to the company’s revenue. Customer A accounts for 12% of the annual revenue, while customers B and C each contribute 11%. These figures have shifted compared to fiscal year 2024, where customer B’s contribution was 13% while customers A and C were below 10%.
These figures mirror the data reported by NVIDIA nine months ago in the previous quarter. The total revenue for NVIDIA in fiscal year 2025 stands at $130.497 billion.
NVIDIA also mentions another customer who purchases products both directly and indirectly through multiple channels, including customer B (Indirect Customer). NVIDIA estimates that this customer contributes 10% to the total revenue. The company foresees a trend where a significant portion of revenue comes from a few select customers, a scenario not present in fiscal year 2023.
While the 10-K report does not disclose the names of NVIDIA’s customers, these customers are likely Alphabet, Amazon, Meta, Microsoft, and Tesla, who have been substantial purchasers of GPUs from NVIDIA.
TLDR: NVIDIA’s latest earnings report highlights the importance of a few key customers in driving a significant portion of the company’s revenue, with notable shifts in contribution percentages compared to previous years.
