Due to the cancellation news of the Life by You game development project, which is a life simulation game similar to The Sims, due to reasons of slow progress and the game not meeting standards, the impact has now escalated even further.

Paradox Interactive, the parent company of Paradox Tectonic studio, the developer of Life by You, has announced the decision to close Paradox Tectonic studio, affecting all 24 employees at the Berkeley office in California. The company stated that it was a difficult decision but was a direct result of the cancellation of the Life by You game project.

In this regard, representatives of Paradox Interactive have refused to comment on whether the 24 employees will be laid off or transferred to other departments.
