Besides the issue of compatibility of the Disc Drive with the current PS5 Pro being sold (which actually works), there has recently been another issue regarding an additional topic that has surfaced. It appears that the PS5 Pro cannot use the cover from the Slim model, even though they may be the same size.
Users on Reddit have discovered that the cover of the PS5 Pro, despite having a similar size and design to the Slim model, cannot be used interchangeably due to the different positions of the internal locks. Sony has confirmed this recently and they have also stated that custom covers for the PS5 Pro will be available for purchase in the future.
