Teleperformance, a leading global call center company with nearly a hundred thousand employees in India, has unveiled their utilization of AI software that converts the voices of phone agents in real-time conversations to be more easily understood.
Developed by Sanas, a company in which Teleperformance is an investor, this software can instantly adjust speech to have the desired English accent, improving interactions with customers contacting Teleperformance services, often from Western countries like the United States or the United Kingdom.
While this technology is currently being implemented in Indian call centers, there are plans to expand its use to facilities in other countries. Apart from accent adjustments, it also helps reduce background noise on calls.
