After YouTube announced earlier this year that they would be introducing a new form of ads when users hit pause on a video, the latest iteration of these ads has been widely rolled out.
These ads, known as Pause Ads, are designed by YouTube to be less intrusive to users. They appear as small pop-up windows on the right side of the screen, featuring a Dismiss button and information button.
