Innovative Solution: Apple Resolves Repetitive Calculation Issue in iOS 18.3 – No More Equation Errors!

In the latest update of iOS 18.3, iPadOS 18.3, and macOS 15.3, the beta version for developers, which is now in RC status, Apple has addressed an issue in the Calculator app. This problem involved repetitive calculations, a feature commonly found in standard calculators. For example, when pressing 2 x 2 and then =, the result is 4. Pressing = again would prompt the calculator to perform the calculation x 2, yielding 8. Pressing = once more would result in 16, and so on.

Apple made significant improvements to the Calculator app in iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 by adding a calculator for iPad, displaying calculation history, supporting unit and currency conversions, and solving mathematical equations through Math Notes. However, this enhancement inadvertently removed the ability to perform repetitive calculations, which has been reintroduced in iOS 18.3.

It is expected that iOS 18.3 will be rolled out to general users within the next 1-2 weeks.

TLDR: The latest update of iOS, iPadOS, and macOS addresses an issue in the Calculator app related to repetitive calculations, which has been reinstated in iOS 18.3. Expect the update to be available for all users soon.
