Google announces the integration of the Angular framework with another company’s framework called Wiz. Wiz has been utilized internally at Google for quite some time but has not been exposed to the public. The usage of Wiz typically involves high-performance applications like Search, Workspace, and YouTube that require quick responsiveness. On the other hand, Angular is commonly used for enterprise applications. However, the differences between these two frameworks have been gradually diminishing, leading both teams to discuss and ultimately decide on merging them.
Google stated that the process of merging these two frameworks will take some time. Currently, a portion of Angular, known as Angular Signals, has already been integrated into Wiz and is being used on the mobile web version of YouTube that we use daily.
TLDR: Google and Wiz are merging their Angular and Wiz frameworks to enhance performance and compatibility across various applications.
