JetBrains, a renowned software company, offers a long-standing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tool named TeamCity for the past 17 years (though the cloud version was recently launched in 2021). The challenge with TeamCity lies in its legacy software nature, high complexity, and the requirement for dedicated system administrators in every organization.
Recently, JetBrains introduced TeamCity Pipelines tailored for small-scale organizations. This revamped version features a user-friendly UI, streamlines unnecessary options, operates faster, and enhances overall efficiency. TeamCity Pipelines revolutionizes the way CI/CD pipelines are configured, allowing users to choose between YAML scripting or utilizing the drag-and-drop PipelineEditor. Its standout feature is the ability to analyze various aspects of our project and provide recommendations on which features or configurations should be enabled to optimize performance.
Currently in the Beta phase, TeamCity Pipelines is available for free usage. Once it stabilizes, JetBrains will announce pricing for the service.
