ASRock introduces the NUC Ultra 100 Box, a compact PC designed for the industrial sector. It features the latest Intel Core Ultra processor (Meteor Lake-H). The product is available in two models: BOX-155H and NUC BOX-125H, which correspond to the Core Ultra 7 155H and Core Ultra 5 125H processors respectively. The NUC comes in a standard size (117.5 x 110.0 x 49 mm), while the NUCS model is slim (117.5 x 110.0 x 38 mm).
With a maximum memory capacity of 96GB DDR5 5600MHz, the NUC Ultra 100 Box offers impressive performance. It boasts 4 video ports, including 2 HDMI 2.1 ports, 1 DisplayPort 2.1 (USB 4) port, and 1 DisplayPort 1.4c (USB Type-C) port. Other notable features include a 2.5G LAN port, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3. The pricing details are yet to be revealed.
The standout feature of this NUC model is the improved performance of both the Core Ultra processor and Intel Arc graphics. It delivers enhanced 3D rendering capabilities compared to its predecessors, while still maintaining the compact NUC form factor.
In the past year, Intel has signed a contract to sell its NUC business to ASUS, but without exclusive rights. This means that other hardware partners of Intel can continue designing and selling NUC PCs under the NUC branding.
