Huawei has just unveiled the latest addition to its notebook lineup, the Huawei MateBook X Pro 2024, touted to be even lighter at 980 grams compared to its 2023 predecessor, with a 30% reduction in thickness at just 13.5 millimeters.

The top-tier configuration of the MateBook X Pro 2024 features the Intel Ultra 9 (185H) processor, 32GB of RAM, a 2TB SSD, a 14.2-inch OLED touchscreen display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a resolution of 3120×2080 pixels, a 70Wh battery, and comes in 3 color options: Inkstone Black, White, and Clear Blue Snow.

This notebook is also Huawei’s first AI PC, incorporating Intel’s AI acceleration technology to support running LLM models on a machine as large as 20B parameters, creating images with Stable Diffusion completed in just 1 second, and supporting the running of Huawei’s Pangu content summarization models.

Starting prices for the MateBook X Pro 2024 begin at 11,000 yuan for the Intel Ultra 7 model and 15,000 yuan for the Intel Ultra 9 model, with pre-orders currently available exclusively in China.
