UGREEN, a renowned manufacturer of computer peripherals and charging accessories, has recently unveiled a complete lineup of NAS devices, ranging from models with 2 disks to larger ones with 8 disks, as well as SSD models. Each of these models is equipped with Intel’s 12th generation processors, starting from the smaller N100 model and going up to Core i5. Furthermore, all models come with 8GB of DDR5 RAM, with the option to expand it up to a maximum of 32GB. The larger models even have the capability to accommodate PCIe 4.0 cards.
Apart from the unique casing design, NAS devices from UGREEN stand out for their bundled software. UGREEN refers to their proprietary software as UGOS, although they have not disclosed the specific software included. However, the company is currently accepting closed beta testers to try out the software. As of now, there is no official release date set for the products, but UGREEN has mentioned that they plan to initiate the first batch of sales through Kickstarter and are currently accepting pre-orders.
