Reports indicate that YouTube is gearing up to reintroduce the Premium Lite package to users in select countries, including the United States, Australia, Germany, and Thailand. In Thailand, the option was previously available for 89 baht per month but is currently not open for sign-ups.
YouTube Premium Lite is a budget-friendly package with certain conditions, such as no ads in regular video clips except for music videos, but still displaying ads in the form of banners and search results, which are less intrusive. Other features remain similar to the free version, such as no download option and lack of Picture-in-Picture support.
Previously, YouTube Premium Lite was trialed in several countries, but this time around, the United States will be included in the countries offering this package.
