iPhone Deliveries in China Surge by 52% in April 2024

The report from the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) regarding the number of smartphone deliveries in China by foreign companies in April 2024 revealed that Apple delivered 3.5 million smartphones, showing a significant growth of 52% compared to the 2.3 million deliveries in April 2023.

CAICT stated that the overall number of foreign smartphone deliveries in China in April 2024 was at 22.7 million units, marking a 25.5% increase. A considerable part of this growth is attributed to Apple’s performance.

Previously, there were reports on declining iPhone sales in China in the first quarter of 2024, but there was a positive trend starting in March. Apple also implemented various marketing strategies to boost sales, resulting in an improved trend in April.
