Investigations into the transfer of the stolen bitcoins from Blocksec revealed that the perpetrators distributed this set of bitcoins among 10 wallets, each containing 500 BTC.
As a response to the incident, DMM Bitcoin assured its affected customers of full compensation in equivalent BTC value. The company has implemented additional measures to prevent such incidents in the future, including limitations on spot trading and potential delays in yen withdrawals from the platform.
