Judicial Order Mandates X Usage Block on Starlink Service in Brazil for Continued Internet Provision.

Starlink, the satellite internet service by SpaceX, has stated that the company will comply with the court order in Brazil that blocks access to X to ensure that internet services can continue in Brazil. Despite X being owned solely by Elon Musk, the same owner as SpaceX.

Previously, the Brazilian court had issued a freeze on all financial transactions of Musk’s business in Brazil in response to the ban on X, indicating that fines must be paid, including those of Starlink. However, Starlink had previously contested this order, asserting that it is not related to X business.

Starlink has approximately 250,000 customers in Brazil, competing with other providers such as Hughesnet, Viasat, and Telebras.
