TikTok has notified its users that the TikTok Notes app will be shutting down on May 8. Users are advised to transition to Lemon8, another app by ByteDance, TikTok’s parent company.
Launched just last year, TikTok Notes was described as a photo-only app, positioning itself to compete with Instagram (pre-video era) while bearing similarities to Lemon8. The app is currently in beta, available only in Canada, Australia, and Vietnam.
