Market Research Firm Points to Indiana Jones PS5 Version Selling Faster than Steam Version

Alinea Analytics, a market research company, evaluated the sales of the game Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, which just released its PS5 version on April 17, 2025. They discovered that sales in the initial days surpassed the PC version sold through Steam by up to 28% if the same number of days were considered.

According to Alinea Analytics, Microsoft’s strategy of selling games on PlayStation has had both successful and unsuccessful outcomes, but Indiana Jones seems to be leaning towards success, even though it is the final platform release after Xbox and PC.

Alinea’s statistics also highlight the premium version of the game priced at $100, which includes in-game bonuses and early access to play 2-3 days before other players. The statistics seem to indicate a promising start, especially considering Steam’s first release sales period. While player numbers in the first 3 days on PS5 are not overwhelmingly high, this can be understood as the game has been out for a while.
