Since yesterday afternoon (Tuesday, June 4th, 2024), many ChatGPT users encountered usability issues. OpenAI confirmed two incidents – the first one occurred from 2:21 PM and was resolved by 6:45 PM. The second incident started at 9:33 PM and was resolved by midnight, all according to Thailand’s local time.
OpenAI stated that the problems affected all ChatGPT users on every plan, whether on browsers or mobile apps, but not on API usage or platform.openai.com.
Yesterday also saw reports of AI tool malfunctions. Google’s Gemini had some users unable to operate it, Claude from Anthropic reported issues between 9:53 PM to 11:45 PM, and Perplexity confirmed issues but have since been resolved.
