Microsoft assesses PC with CrowdStrike 8.5 million devices, advancing automated remedy solution.

Microsoft has announced on the company blog that they estimate approximately 8.5 million PCs have been impacted by the CrowdStrike bug. While this accounts for less than 1% of all Windows PCs, the ripple effects on the economy and society are significant. PCs equipped with CrowdStrike are often used by organizations globally for various services.

Additionally, Microsoft has disclosed that they are collaborating with CrowdStrike to develop an automated Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) troubleshooting solution to quickly address issues on systems running on Azure. They are also working with AWS and GCP to find compatible solutions.
