Nintendo Switch 2’s Joy-Con 2 introduces a new gameplay control system known as the Mouse mode. Players can drag the Joy-Con 2 across surfaces and press buttons to maneuver akin to using a mouse. With this innovative gameplay system, Nintendo must release games that fully utilize this capability.
One such game is Drag x Drive, a 3×3 wheelchair basketball game that relies on movement in Mouse mode and shooting system requiring players to lift the Joy-Con 2 in the air. The game also supports Game Chat for video mode, displaying players’ faces while playing.
Drag x Drive has not announced a release date yet but is expected to launch in the summer of 2025.
