NVIDIA’s Whispers: The Anticipated Arrival of GeForce RTX 4080 and 4070 SUPER

There are rumors circulating on the Chinese website Benchlife that NVIDIA will release the GeForce RTX 4070 and 4080 SUPER versions. The specific specifications have not been confirmed yet, but the main difference between the regular and SUPER versions is said to be an upgraded GPU chip, increased memory, and wider bus width.

The RTX 4080 SUPER is speculated to feature an AD102 chip, which is similar to the one used in the 4090. It is also expected to have 20GB of memory and a 320-bit bus width, an improvement from the regular version.

On the other hand, the RTX 4070 SUPER is rumored to come with an AD103 chip, resembling the one used in the 4080. It is likely to have 16GB of memory and a 256-bit bus width, an upgrade from the regular model.

It is worth noting that NVIDIA previously released SUPER versions in the GeForce RTX 20 series but did not release any in the 30 series. The last time this happened was in July 2019, so we will have to wait and see if these rumors turn out to be true.

TLDR: Rumors suggest that NVIDIA is planning to release SUPER versions of the GeForce RTX 4070 and 4080, featuring upgraded chips, increased memory, and wider bus widths. These rumors follow previous SUPER releases in the RTX 20 series and have yet to be confirmed by NVIDIA.
