Octopath Traveler I Released on PS4/PS5, Part II Available on Xbox, Now Playable on Game Pass

Square Enix has announced the release of Octopath Traveler Parts 1-2 on additional platforms as follows:

Octopath Traveler I is now available on PS4 and PS5.
Octopath Traveler II is now available on Xbox Series X|S as previously announced.

This announcement signifies that the Octopath Traveler series is now fully playable on current-generation consoles, including PlayStation, Switch, Xbox, and PC Windows. Additionally, both Parts I & II of Octopath Traveler have been added to Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass for PC starting today. The games will be available on Game Pass until January 2026.

Furthermore, Octopath Traveler II introduces the Extra Battle mode, which can be played after defeating the final boss. Players will encounter even more challenging gameplay than in the main game, facing off against characters from Part I as well. This mode is available immediately on the Xbox version, while other platforms will require a game update.
