Hewlett Packard Enterprise, also known as HPE, has recently announced that they have reached an agreement to acquire Juniper Networks. In this deal, HPE will be purchasing all of Juniper’s shares at a price of $40 per share, with a total deal value of approximately $14 billion or around 490,000 million baht, as previously reported.
HPE states that the integration of their products and Juniper’s will result in a stronger network product business, with leading-edge technologies and higher profit margins. HPE expects the network business to experience significant growth after the integration.
This is not the first time HPE has acquired a network business. Back in 2015, HPE acquired Aruba and merged it into HP at that time.
After the completion of the integration, Rami Rahim, the CEO of Juniper, will lead the network business division of HPE, reporting directly to Antonio Neri, the CEO of HPE.
