Google has rolled out the Gemini feature in the side panel of its Google Workspace services including Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, and Drive officially. While some may have had early access, this announcement marks its general availability for all users.

Users of Workspace web desktop versions can now leverage Gemini for language-related tasks such as summarizing content, drafting text, creating slides, and generating visuals directly from each app’s web page.

The service is now live for paying Google Workspace users who have purchased either the Google One AI Premium or Gemini add-on packages, available for both business and education users.

TLDR: Google introduces Gemini feature in Google Workspace for language-related tasks, now accessible for paying users with specific packages.
