Google has officially released Chrome for Windows with Arm architecture support, following testing on the Canary version since January. In their announcement, Google disclosed a collaboration with Qualcomm, the Arm chip manufacturer for PCs. Products featuring the Snapdragon X Elite chip are set to be released mid-year. Having Chrome on Arm architecture addresses performance issues and reduces significant barriers to Arm PC sales.
Web browsers supporting Windows on Arm in the native format currently include Microsoft Edge and Firefox.
TLDR: Google releases Chrome for Arm-compatible Windows PCs, boosting performance and market potential for Arm-based PCs.
